When the rubber bales are packed into cases, they will often cold flow into the original space between bales.

This end effector is designed to decase the bales, and relies on driving auger screws into each bale and lifting them vertically from their stacking position.

The auger RPM must be adjusted to the downward velocity of the gantry Z-beam, a trivial control task with servo drive systems.
