Sage has designed many carts on a rail track to unload winders. The carts have a scissor lift, allowing the carts to go under the completed roll. It then raises to support the roll and shaft and lift it free of the winder. The cart usually then moves to a shaft extractor position where the core shaft is removed. The cart then brings the roll to a station for a further processing. The car can dump the roll onto the next station enabling it to tend the next wound roll.
