Layer Depalletizers usuall place a full tier on an unscrambler that singulates the cases comprising the full tier.
Some customer orders however require full product tiers of the same SKU. It is efficienct and simple to pick full layers from the souce pallets and build customer orders by adding full tiers of different SKU's before adding the mixed tiers.
