The pictured robot is a custom-built polar robot that travels on a heavy duty floor-mounted track. This robot, with its vacuum hood end of arm tool, picks entire layers of beer that is packaged in cartons. The robot can pick from pallet loads on either side of the track and will put the picked layer on an exit conveyor that singulates the layer for build to order palletizing robots.
