
This system was designed to handle an ever-changing product list that would then sort the product into eight lanes. A 4-axis closed gantry would then palletize each lane on its own pallet.
The sortation process was handled by triggered push plates that would move each box from the main conveyor to their selected lane. A lane would then wait for a total of at least four boxes to create a single pick by the robot.
The gantry robot used a vacuum end effector as well as pallet clamps to work with the product, pallets, and slipsheets.

This FANUC M-410 robot was used to palletize cases of printed product at high speed.
